Angel has 174 games and 44 goals

Luis Diaz 47 games 16 goals 9 assists across all competitions. Yeah it's still Angel, but he could be surpassed. Guajaro also has more titles than Angel.

Also people keep forgetting Diaz is a winger

I think it's hard to compare across different positions, teams and eras. The EPL was much more defensive and less free scoring when Asprilla and Angel played, and they never played on such a dominant side like Liverpool, Angel did alot of dirty work though as well and wasn't just a goal scorer.

All of that said, Diaz is gotta be the best, the other 2 never reached his level in world soccer and he's at Liverpool and a key player because of how good he is. Diaz is such a good player, because he was kind of late to hit his stride we probably under appreciate how good he is, but man the guy can do so much its insane to me still his agent didn't make Liverpool renew him a year ago and pay the man.

I agree with both Doogs and villus. Just saying people could bring up stats and say that Angel is the best statistically.

He sounds overly optimistic. He'll probably still be underpaid sadly. Even if he's happy he shouldn't accept anything less than 2-3 times what he's making today.

Salah makes about $24 million, Van Dijk $17, Allison $16, Trent $13.5 (Euros?). Lucho is at $6.5, so definitely he should ask for $16-17 million.

Man not a lot of midfield there but I guess Lucho defends and presses enough to make up for it

He's used Torres a decent amount in the 10 role when they needed goals, to get more firepower since Pedri and DeJong can dominate with just the 2 of them on the ball. Diaz opens up a ton of options to rotate everyone without dropping off, something they desperately need with the way they play and how reliant they were on the front 3 this year. seeing reports they will only pay up to 60m which is expensive but Diaz is the perfect fit for what they need.

Credible sources are reporting that Wirtz has accepted Liverpools offer, and its just down to the clubs to work out the price, so there is a decent chance this could move quickly, Liverpool can't really play coy if they are paying 100m+ for Wirtz so this is likely to smoke out both sides and business can get done. Still think it all comes down to if Diaz wants to push it and wants the move, because all the signs from Barca is that they are willing to make him possibly their only signing and commit to him. All parties could be happy but it depends on what Liverpools plans are and they are very good at keeping their cards close to the chest.

The Liverpool team is looking stacked. Wirtz is amazing, I'm bummed City couldn't get him because he would have perfect to replace KDB

Yeah I'm sure they'll find someone, and as long as they get Rodri back they can compete again, without Rodri that team was just kind of average this season.
