Cuadrado is iconic. Have we had other dribblers on his level aside from maybe De Avila. Probably more guys from the old days

Guajaro's the best. A modern, superior version of cuadrado

Cuadrado has the talent to do everything, but so much of his dribbling is in one place and unfortunately at times was a net negative because he slows the game down no matter what and didn't want to make runs. I think honestly if you take out Cuadrado and put in Arias for almost all of his tenure we are a better team overall. Arias has alot of the same qualities as Cuadrado but is much more effective at progressing the ball and playing simple when and quick when it's called for. I had such high hopes for Cuadrado after 2014 World Cup, but honestly his ego and game has held him back and he's been disappointing for Colombia (while also being great in club tbh).

I think the modern version is Arias, Lucho although similar in some areas is much more direct whereas Cuadrado really changed that from his game along time ago. Lucho has got more direct as he's gotten better whereas Cuadrado dropped further from goal and became more of a midfielder/creator defender.

It is being reported that Xabi is not going to leave Bayer Leverkusen.

The Manager from Brighton is the favorite to get the job now.

Salah just missed an open header. Probably because he's too short but it would have been a great guajaro assist

To Salah's defense, his job is to score. If both him and Diaz pass all the time, it would be frustrating watching Liverpool. It's the double edged sword, you will score but you will miss a lot.

The reason why having a center like Firmino worked for them for so many years. He gladly did the dirty work while Mane and Salah shot like crazy.

Back to Diaz, he had a second goal called back for offside. I'm not saying conspiracy but I am not convinced its an exact science on whoever draws these offside lines. Good overall game though. His typically pain in the butt, run right at you or through you attitude. Love it!!!

With Arsenal and City drawing, Liverpool are on top. But if they draw next game and Arsenal wins, then the gunners would lead due to GD.
