He did surprisingly great for being at a smaller team and for the little time he spent active (Angel)

But he was def not considered a success in the league. His impact as a difference maker so much more clear in Seria A.

Brutal for Lucho, but I love Jürgen for keeping him on for the 98 in spite. Knows how to keep the psyche of his players right.

He was incredible. Drove Kyle Walker crazy even though he's probably one of the few people who's as quick as he is.

Diaz's dribbling today was unbelievable. Hate to say it but had he scored at least one of his chances, they probably would have won today because they totally neutralized City

You cant have him as man of the match when he misses two clear goals that cost them 3 points. Cant be missing chances like that, especially in such big games. I agree though apart from the misses he played very well.

I have accepted that he is going to be like that at times.
Like when he missed a clear breakaway against the Keeper of Uruguay and then missed a penalty against Ecuador.

Heck even against Brasil he missed many chances before becoming the hero.

If he can just find a way to become a little more consistent and accurate we can be unstoppable.
Hopefully it happens this Summer and in 2026.
