Inter, Newcastle and Real Madrid after him

I wouldn't mind selling him to Real Madrid if we could get Morientes to come here. I think Amorerhina and Rocha would do well in central defense.

Benfica didn´t paid 10 million, Benfica paid something like 2 million euros for 25 % i think, IMO this news are only to put pressure on Benfica in order to the Luisão agent receives some money...
    Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Newcastle?
How many foreigners Real have? i am not sure that he can go to Real Madrid, Inter Milan the same question and about Newcastle, a player outside EU have to play several games for his national team in the last 2 years, in order to get an work permit, i am not sure but i think thats the way it is.

I think the most probable is Inter Milan, since they are allowed to buy one foreign player each season.

He is a tall, lanky CD with a good head for heading the ball in a corner kick situation. He will finish this season off with SLB then move onto either Italy, Spain or Germany. There are many Brazilians are moving to Germany and other Eastern European countries like Russia and Ukraine. I guess clubs are paying huge $$$ for the players. Would there be any other reason to forego a league in, say, Italy for one in Russia?

It's got to be the money that the Russians and Ukrainians are throwing, because the players sure as hell are not enticed by the weather!

Agent reveals Deportivo, Tottenham push for Luisao
    tribalfootball.com - October 23, 2004

The agent of Benfica defender Luisao has revealed Tottenham and Deportivo La Coruna are chasing the Brazil international.

"After Real Madrid, with (Jose Antonio) Camacho, also Inter Milan asked for the player. Now its arisen that Deportivo and Tottenham want to sign him," Giulliano Bertolucci told A Bola.

"To leave in the winter market would be very difficult. It would have to be a very, very big offer to persuade Benfica. The coach, Giovanni Trapattoni, counts on him this season."

He added: "June 2005 is a more likely time for discussing a move."
