Is he going to prove that wants and for all Calcio is corrupt and unjust.

Or is he just a raving mad man who is desperate to find a way of excusing his team's poor result's this term.

Either way he providing entertainment in the bucket loads with his off the wall idea's. This man is what Serie A is all about, In which other league would you find a club president coming out and acusing the governing body of conspiering against their team.

Anyone agree that these type of sub-plots make Serie A great or is it just me?

I'd opt for another choice -

Is just out to draw attention to himself and his sorry-ass clubs.

    yes, he's raving mad but......

among all of his raving, he does have some valid points - not necessarily his latest rave although, even as a romanista i can say that really should have been a penalty but i won't turn away luck when we didn't have any last season - and he really has a lot of popular support. i read the italian news and watch domenica sportiva every week where he has been a frequent guest. whenever he's on and making his "wild & crazy" points, he is getting all the appalause & cheers from the crowd. public opinion is more in his favour than against it. those who speak against him come off sounding more & more reactionary conservative - the types who would never ever admit there is any kind of problem/scandal/injustice in italian football when the general public agrees there is.
that said, i do think he uses that support to his advantge and goes overboard with "signings" and it becomes rather a joke. he certainly doesn't mind talking about all of that rather than his team crashing out of seria a at this rate.

I would have voted this way if it was an option.

Gaucci is somewhat amusing...he makes Perugia more interesting than the average mid-to-bottom rung serie a side.

However, his actions regarding Catania last summer were ridiculous...I don't think perugia are being punished because of that, even suggesting it is jsut another stunt.
