SLO had a great week last week with a 0-3 win over Basel. Pos was not on the bench.

    Pos should start.

Forgotten man, but he's been starting regularly this season for this last place side that has been struggling to maintain relevance. Extremely thin day in world football led me to notice. Starting today against Luzern.

I believe starting in the Swiss Super League, even for the team deep in last place is entitled to a promotion

Hasn't gotten much love from the #USMNT given the depth Gregg can call upon and is therefore looking at switching to Canada!?!

Go for it Canada, and go for it Lucas.

Saying this guy is a Swiss Super League defender is like saying Auston Trusty is a Premier League defender. Yes, they both play in those leagues. But it's also important to realize neither of their teams will be in the top tier much longer. They're in way over their respective heads in the top flight.

I just have a hard time believing Canada is this desperate for center backs where this is necessary.

His whole career into last summer was in the Swiss 2nd tier. This is his 1st season in the top tier and Stade Lausanne Ouchy are train wreck, 7 points deep in last, 50 goals conceded in 23 games.

I'll admit I haven't watched Stade Lausanne Ouchy. Certainly their problems are not all on him, but it's seems impossible for a defender there to affirmatively make a positive case for himself either. If scouting reveals something different, go for it. But that would be surprising given the state of his team.

I think you underestimate how bad our CB depth is at the moment!
If he gets a Canadian passport then he'll get at least one camp invite and likely a cap for Canada (maybe not a full game).

SLO has never been a major player in Lausanne, let alone the nation. It has only really been the last few seasons that they have really pushed for promotion. They are by far the 2nd team in the city.

I hope Pos finds a way to play.

Had this rolling on a second screen. First place vs last place match and they lost 1-0, but he hung pretty well with the best offense in the league and was one of their best few players. Hope he gets a shot with a better team if he wants it.

I had wondered where the Swiss League matches had gone. Last season they were all on FIFA+ for free. Thank you so much!

They lose 1-0 on a 95th minute penalty, conceded by Pos. Ouch. Tough night for him.

It was painful. But five years ago, no one at all would have given then any type of chance to be in the Super League. Think Luton Town or Ipswich.
