All field players look exactly the same with this camera view. 5'9" Spanish looking. Impossible to follow him. I'm trying tho.

De la Torre subs on against Musah-less Valencia in the 83rd, just after Valencia go up 2-0.

Tricky pass slipped through past de la Torre to Almeida for Valencia's thrid. Not happy with himself after that one, but would have been a great play to stop it.

Full time. He was playing wide left, like a 4-4-1 (down a man when he came on).

It didn't require a great play. He was the man in the area to stop it & wasn't doing anything else. Just didn't recognize & mark the guy.

Tough cameo. On the same attack he got beat in behind on the 1-2 to allow a cross in. Also was shouldered off a ball he was clear favorite to. Didn't help his case.

Yeah, the benefit of the doubt, yank forgiveness clause will save him here, but not with the coach and fans there.

Yeah, it didn‘t help his case. Simplest way to put it.

Luca subs on in the 78th minute, trailing Getafe 2-1.

Luca does that driving forward with the ball thing he does at three defenders. Lays it off wide for a potentially good cross, but it's blocked.

Luca makes a pass splitting defenders up the left wing that is a good one, but again the defense makes a good play.

Celta needs to beat the bunker but I don't see them doing it.

Teammates falling in love with long range shots. Almost got a lucky deflection on one of them, but Soria was able to adjust in time.

EQUALIZER! Great cross in from the right flank by Aspas headed home by Aidoo. Soria gets hands on it but it's coming in too hard from too close. Luca uninvolved.

Aidoo was off compared to his own defender, but the other CB kept him on by a foot or two, I think.

Full time. Luca didn't have time to do a ton, but they were very much on the front foot after he came on, so it was nice to see him be a part of them aggressively pursuing the equalizer. Solid job on the day.

I think the important take away is the manager trusted Luca to come on in a game in which Celta was down a goal. It wasn't a 3 goal deficit or for that matter a 3 goal lead, it was a game still hanging in the balance.

Not all games he's come in for his 10-minute cameos have been blowouts. He played when they were protecting a 1-goal lead but v. 10 men. Then he was DNP subsequently.

I think the manager believes he can throw him out there if they're already being blown out, blowing out the opponent, or can flat track bully someone like Panama or Honduras at home. He's a shuttler who can keep the machine moving (while doing nothing special). When it's even or an uphill battle that's more challenging.

Subbed on in the 65th of today's match against Sevilla - will be his longest league appearance of the season.
