So anyway, if you were a hotdog and you were starving, would you eat yourself? I know I would. I would be delicious. How about you Norm? Come on Norm, its a simple question.

I agree on Ronaldo's shitty attitude. And yes, Mathis does rock. I saw him play just last week against D.C. He kept hurting his knee, putting it the wrong way. So he's not too happy with that. Once you have a knee injury, you can never play the way you used to. It's happened to my dad and tons of other people. It sucks majorly.
As for the Mathis is gay thread, it never existed. I started a thread entitled "Clint's future in the MLS" because I heard of a possible Europe transfer. That's it. Someone just had to go and start pulling ************ out of his ass which was majorly uncalled for. So I just wanted to clear that out of the way. I love Clint and I love the picture I have with him!

If Clint can stay healthy he could possibly still be one of the best strikers for the USMNT. But I really think it's all up to Clint, if he wants to work for it or not. But, I know that their will be plenty of strikers that will challenge him for the sport.

Okay, so I thought about this thread when I watched the Dallas/NYNJ game last night and Clint is really, really good BUT after the first 20-25 minutes of the game, he faded from the game. I just find it sad that a player of his skill can't be part of the game all the way to the end (and not just setting up/scoring goals).

I mean, he was the friggin Captain!

IMO, it's not just his fitness that's lacking - he wasn't a leader on the field vocally, mentally, didn't organize the team and etc.

Bruce Arena has every right to be frustrated with Clint, anybody with that potential can and should be sooo much better than he is.

I want Clint to go to a sport psychologist. And that's my analysis.

Mathis - Younger, better at forward, good off set pieces, not good defensively, MLS experience, often rumored on bigsoccer to wear ladies underwear, smokes

Beckham - Older, better at midfield, great off set pieces, not good defensively, EPL experience, wears ladies underwear, is a smoker

Mathis is the man. But I’m hearing good things about this player named Giuseppe Rossi.
