Just a heads up, from a couple of games ago, the first after the all-star break there was a very cool video the Kraft Media folks put together of the Revs and there was this song behind it that I hadn't heard before. I'm not too hip to the new music scene, just not my thing anymore really.

...However, I just saw a promo for the show Rescue Me with the same song. I really dig this song and thought others might be interested to know what it is.

    "C'mon, C'mon..." -- VonBondies.

If anyone has a clip of that video would they please post it? It was very cool. If not then maybe I'll email them to se eif they won't put it on the site.

You can listen to the song here http://www.vonbondies.com

    Enjoy.

    VON BONDIES LYRICS

    C'mon C'mon

    On another day c'mon c'mon
With these ropes I tied can we do no wrong
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
    Will I ever learn? (c'mon c'mon)
    (c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

    As I make my way c'mon c'mon
These better nights that seem too long
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
    Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
    (c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
    Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
    (c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

And no this day these deepened wounds don't heal so fast
Can't hear me croon of a million lies that speak no truth
Of a time gone by that now is through

Not for nothing too it'd make for a pretty cool chant/song in the Fort.

    Fun Fact:

I'm a big White Stripes fan and these guys/gals have a very similar sound. With good reason... Jack White produced their first album and the VonBondis were the opening act for the White Stripes on tour. Turns out somewhere along the lines the two groups ha da falling out and the lead singer of the VonBondies wound up getting into a bar fight with Jack White and getting his ass kicked. Now that's metal...
