Maybe his love for DC will be the encouragement he needs to move on with his life's work as a Missionary or Metro Track Inspector or some other endeavor I just don't see him hanging on another season unless they blind squirrel their way to MLS Cup. Some speculate that he'll have an executive job forever like local icons Totti at Roma or Pavel Nedved at Juve. If true,he'll still need to show up out there. I'm not sure telecommuting is embraced as warmly by the sports industry as it is by the government, although it has looked like he mailed/phoned a big part of his coaching duties in over the past years.
    Time will tell

I wonder if they'd give me a ride?

When the training facility was in Herndon, a lot of the players lived in Sterling and Leesburg areas. I wonder if the MARC runs backwards so Benny can get to Brunswick from DC (short drive from there, the USL players can take turns coming to pick him up ;))

They would fight each other for the chance to get in Ben's good graces for possible promotion to DCU.

I apologize as this is not exactly on-thread but for anyone in the area:

Spirit seems likely to play its two home matches April 17 and 24 at Segra Field in Leesburg.

I see in today's WaPo that Washington's Old Glory professional rugby team will play matches at Segra also. It's becoming quite the hot venue.

Please keep me updated as my good buddy lives in Ashburn about 7 miles away from Segra. I have to try and get down there for a visit soon.

Not directly related, but here's the link image that was in the team update from the weekend that was in my inbox this morning:

    An unexpected result!

However, the actual score was the other way 'round, with Kamara and Brilliant the two named scorers, with "unsigned players" scoring the other three.
