Could someone clear something up for me, please? I just don't have time to go back and watch the tapes.... I thought it was determined that the gun Ana Lucia fired only had one bullet. Wasn't that part of the debate over her shooting Shannon? She only had one bullet and she would waste it on a skinny blonde chick who could hardly be a threat.... Now I read all this debate over her firing two shots from the gun.... I'm all confused.... So did she have only one bullet or am I completely remembering wrong?
Correct the gun which she fired at Shannon had only 1 bullet left, however in the preview for next week shows her firing once again. Many are speculating that she took Sayids gun, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Also on other message boards they are saying that in the scene w/ Ana Lucia sitting and talking w/ Goodwin in the background in the mountains there is a car driving. Anyone catch this? I'm looking for some screen shots. I doubt it has anything to do w/ the show, probably just missed it in the editing or something.
Anyone have a good link to download Lost episodes? Our DVR messed up last night and no Lost!!! We're dying here, and I'll be a superhero if I can somehow produce last night's episode.
Hmmm, Mr. Eko. Religious black man with accent. Plane with Nigerian priest carrying Madonnas stuffed with drugs. Connection ... or racial profiling?
She did shoot Shannon. I can tell you what was shown in the Canadian preview of the next episode but I don't want to spoil it for you guys since I think the Canadian preview is different from the American one.
Racist! Actually, I've seen the idea brought up on some other forums too. Someone else said that Eko (like Goodwin) was dry when we first saw him, meaning he wasn't on the plane. It's very possible that he was actually one of the smugglers.
Was he? Honestly I don't remember right now... I'll have to check the Tivo tonight. I remember him going into the ocean to save people. Now that I think about it, I think you're right. Still it won't stop the rumors from going away.
Mr. E was definitely in the ocean. You see him all disoriented, but somewhat focused (kinda like, what just happened, I gotta do something).... He grabs the kids and swims to shore. From what I recall. He was definitely in the ocean and definitely grabbed some survivors to swim to shore (I think it was the kids).
I can't remember the first time we saw him either. I would hate for him to be a baddy. I think he plays the spiritual leader role for his group much better than Locke does for his. He might be my new favorite character on the show. Edit: Yeah, I thought he saved the kids, too. But since the kids were supposed to be "saved", he could have come from the beach to do it, I guess.
I went to lost-media to look at the screen caps. It wasn't the kids he pulls to shore first. But the first pic of him is him standing up outta the water. The next pic is him dragging an adult onshore. He goes back for the girl. But here's the thing. If the others knew this was gonna happen. What was to stop them from swimming out into the water and then acting like they were on the plane? That's very possible. I don't really think he's an Other though. I have a hard time with that. But maybe it's just cuz I don't want him to be....
I don't think the others knew about the plane crash. It just happened and they responded by "jumping" into the crowd of the tailenders. The did it immediately since it was on their end of the island. Ethan doesn't join the Losties until the middle of the season. So my guess is that it took some time for him to find the Losties.
Well, I don't think Eko is an "Other" since he doesn't seem to fit their profile. But he might be one of the drug smugglers on the plane that Boone and Locke found. Of course there were also a couple of dead guys in the plane IIRC so... I dunno. Just a theory people are throwing out there, especially since we don't seem to know much about his character.
You could be right. But I'm not 100% certain about that. How did they determine who was "good" enough to be taken on their first night on the island? And remember, no one knew anyone's name the first night. They made a point of having Ana point that out. So how would they know who to take?
Well, we didn't "meet" Ethan until midway through the season, but he still could've been there as a redshirt. Of course that begs the question of, if he was an Other just like Goodwin, why didn't they take anyone besides Claire the way they did with the tailies?
See.... I have my theory that most of those people were not supposed to be on the plane. But that gets into the deeper theory that the crash itself was created by someone or something.... But think about.... Jack wasn't supposed to be on the plane because he wasn't supposed to clear his father's body. Hurley wasn't supposed to be there because he was late, the door was closed.... As far as I can tell, Claire was supposed to be there all along. As a matter of fact she was sent on that plane. Of course, all this digs the theory deeper and deeper and I could just be way off. I'm not big at speculating. I don't want it to ruin my enjoyment of the show as it is. But it is something to think about....
ok. u know when the korean guy and the big black guy went lokking for the other dude and they saw 'the others'. well remember they saw a little teddy bear, wasnt that the littleboy's teddy bear?
Yes I believe it was that little kids teddy bear. I was thinking about that earlier today. So that 1 guy was right the kids are safe.
