Listening to the Soccerwise podcast they were talking about how LAFC plays more of a low block / counter game. They're not the typical high pressing MLS team. Most MLS high press these days. Basically they're happy for their opponent to play the game in their half, and then exploit the space behind on counters with their 3 forwards. That'll be a challenge for us because we also need space. We can still press them though, and hopefully opportunities come out of that.
Yeah, with Bouanga taking a pretty bad tackle, and all of them having done travel into rough conditions.

Isn't it odd to have a "where to watch" when it's a home game? You watch at the stadium, of course! (I know it's LA, but traffic is not THAT bad on Sunday, and some of those bars are just a few miles away.) Weather should be mid-70s.
The TV announcers for this game will be Jake Zivin and Taylor Twellman. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Twellman will no doubt be singing paeans to the greatness that is LAFC, but he did appear on Ted Ramey's last podcast. He gave the Quakes and Bruce props but mostly got into talking about all of the Revs guys on the coaching staff (his ex-teammates).
If memory serves me, Twellman scored 2 goals for the US against Japan at Oracle Park (or whatever it was called back then) in a send-off game for the 2006 World Cup. But Bruce didn't choose him for the World Cup roster. You think TT is a fan of Bruce? By the way, @Beerking: I have a photo of us having a nice warm-up before that very match at Sammy Hagar's restaurant. PM me your email and I'll send it your way.
