We're looking for banners/ signs/ flags or whatever we can bring to represent the ESC in foreign land.
Does anyone have any mid-size banners or flags?
I say mid-size because I don't think we could bring something like the big ESC banner into the stadium...but anything provided will help.

Like MetroTico said, we need some flags. Don't need anything "huge", but something big enough for 20 or so people.

Almost forgot, we also need a 3ft X 5ft (maybe bit bigger or bit smaller) Metro flag to attach to our flag pole. Its gonna be nice displaying it for everyone to see in Columbus. So if you have one we can barrow, let me know.

You should be able to bring the ESC banner in. We have brought a few large ones in with no problem.

I have one (courtesy of Cossack) banner that will make the trip that is about 4x7 feet and is pretty good for hanging in front of the section. If I have another one done by that time, we can bring it too.

    Cool!
What about those flags we had a few years back, any idea of where they are?

    For me in Ohio...not very.

You've also gotta keep in mind, I have no idea of CCS security allows you to bring flags on sticks in anyway, no matter how non-dangerous the 'stick' is.

yo...I'm taking the Path to jersey to get the ride, you want the drum too? Damn, I don't envy carrying that on the train at 3am. I'll see what I can do.

Mike, are you talking just flags on sticks, or do you have banners too? "Lemme get two boxes of flying saucers and you got some flags for me?" :p

I have two large canvas drop cloths (from home depot, unused, very clean) that can be used to make banners. One is 5x7, the other 15x20.

Anyone have any ideas? I was going to paint them with black paint, and I can get some red too, but I am at a loss for clever witticisms to paint on them at current.

    What about this one....

ESC - Red & Black up yer Arse

Section 8 on tour manages to bring in banners, flags, drums, flares, etc..... food for thought....

It's a shame that the famed Accela Firm won't be making the trip.....

You'd be surprised how cheap banner material (some sort of light poly-blend) is at your local fabric store. I'd imagine it might come out better looking than painted canvas...

One betsy ross, there' s only one betsy ross...

Well, let's get an idea down and then worry about the application later. And, I don't plan on using the word "arse" for two reasons, namely that I'd like to be able to get it in the stadium, and I'd rather not look like a euroweenie doing it.

But we've all seen how keeping it real goes horribly wrong.

"I don't like nobody playin' on my phone!"

I don't want to do anything Crew-specific, because it should be a banner we can hang in 101 too. NYC represent isn't bad, but kind of leaves on the Jersey guys. Maybe Metro represent. Anyway. The 15x20 one could be hung over the front of 101 if it looked cool enough.

    How about?

    "The Metro Brigade"

    Wherever Metro goes...We go!

or something like that... we could hang that in 101 and use it on roadtrips also...
