    just curious....

Quarterfinals are slated to begin on Oct 22/23 (Away leg for HF adv teams)
2nd Leg on Oct 29/30th (Home leg for HF adv teams)

Pats have a bye week on the 23rd....however have the featured sunday night game on the 30th v Buffalo.

thoughts as to how this is going to play out if the revs have HFA?
at this moment, i'm thinking they're going to move a potential revs match to friday night b/c they'll either be swamped with network setup and/or would like to get all the soccer 'crap' off the field in time. granted they use water based paint and the game isn't until 8:30 pm on sunday.....but, i'm thinking it could be bad for the crowd if it goes to friday night. friday night has happened in the past, no? or was that a sunday night due to spooky world commitments?

    ...take that a step further.....

Conference finals scheduled to be November 5/6.
...Pats at home v Indianapolis for MNF on the 7th.

(Anyone think they're going to 'sell' HFA to the away team...a'la CCC?)

I think it was in 2002 when we played game 3 against the crew at 7pm and the pats had a 4pm game the next day. I remember the groundscrew bringing the field goals posts out right after the Revs game.
    I might be wrong though.

Don't remember the games, but yes this has happened.

Hell, last year two weeks in a row, I was there for a Revs game Saturday night, and back there the next day for a Pats game. They've done it before, they'll do it again this year.

    fine....no worries then.

....on the bright side, the last home game at foxboro is oct 2nd.
and, there's only 2 home games (reg season) prior to 10/29

so, if the revs end up with HFA....the field will have 4 full non-nfl weeks to stay in somewhat decent shape. (obviously, 3 weeks if not HFA *knock on wood* this doesn't happen)

In 2003, we played the ECF in Chicago on a friday night because the Bears were playing on sunday.
