Well, I guess any optimism that I had yesterday was pretty ill-placed. When they describe a West Ham performance as woeful and a former player wins man of the match against us, it really is time for these guys to have a gut check. PMO.
Hmm did I say we'd tightened our defence? How presumptuous of me! That was a seriously embarrassing result, made worse by the fact that one of our most recent former players delivered the crushing blows. I wonder if we can get Paul McKenna to brainwash the rest of our squad into believing they play for another club? And also to convince them that every team they play is in fact US? I'm sure we'd win every game till the end of the season. Where's the hurt, the anger? It doesn't seem to be coming from Pardew (not publicly anyway) but this group of players need a serious KICK UP THE ARSE. We are now 11 points behind Wigan, and the likes of QPR being above us only pisses me off even more. We have to put together a run of consecutive wins NOW, otherwise we will tail off to obscurity once again. This is now a test of AP's motivational skills (if he has any) and our players response to the criticism they deserve for this shambolic result. I'll go back to my shell now.... Mike
This is where i really get the tom tits with Brown again. I understand the museum and the relevant reason behind the hms warrior. Again Brown has put something before the playing side of West Ham. Couple of years or so back the club spent 2 million or so buying Sir Bobs momento's caps etc. Great he is my all time hero in many ways. However we couldn't afford to strengthen a defense that leaked like the titanic. Brown has a passion for the museum but seems not to realise we need quality players. I wanted Dowie for manager like Delmo and feel the board could still have it right with Pardew. They got to back him FFS. BROWN OUT
