Unfortunately, ESPN2 is showing the Quakes game tape delayed so it won't air until 10:30pm (local time), but think of how drunk ya'll could get before that game airs. :)

    See you on Saturday!

I was just about starting a topic about that.
Does anybody knows whether Quakes will be shown live at Kezar?

I will be dead, because of alcohol overdose by then.
Maybe Kezar can get New England feed?

Time to call The Cyril of Kezar?
Remember, we missed the first half of a tape delayed game, because he managed to turn on the live feed?

If it helps, according to SoccerTV the WB station in Boston WLVI channel 56 is showing the game live (3:30pm PDT).

It would take a sallelite master to figure out how to watch this game live out here in Cali.

When mastering Satellite is the task - Cyril is the God (and I hope, right now I am his prophet) :)

Yeah, either ones of us maybe will be a bit too "banged" by then... :p

If the lads can get a live feed, the better... I know when we were there to see the 8/11 game we were able to the live transmission of the Quakes game, then catch a bit of the FSBA delay... :)

If you want wait in between to see the comrades on ice:
4:00 pm is the Russian v Canada from Toronto game, but you need to get it on Canadian satellite. You might be razzed about 1972 and 1987... or mooduck on the Canucks... :p

But I think it can be done. Maybe if you guys offered KRON some money, they would set you up with a TV at the station. I'd say there's a 20% chance their feedroom guy could find it. That goes up to 90% if you also talk to the feedroom guy in Boston.

    Heh, KRON uses our equipment.
They might not be too friendly to me if they found out where I work. :)

Except I think KRON is going to be busy with San Jose State/Stanford pointy-ball.

    OT:

Nothing personal... But I hope that SJSU loses every football game by 30 points this year, drops football then gets smart and decides to build a HDC-style athletic center with the new home of the Quakes as the centerpiece.

    But that's just me.

    Back to topic...

Since neither of those is likely to happen (losing every football game by 30 points or getting smart)...HAIL SPARTANS HAIL!

    Yes...

It could happen, if we can intercept the feed from Boston...

Otherwise between 3:00 pm and 10:30 pm it's going to be a long wait... and I'm planning to head around town...

So, either hoping for the feed from the Quakes match, or watching Canada/Russia hockey... cheers!

(and, expect an email from me either tonight, if not tomorrow for sure... thanks! :) )

I guess, the reasonable strategy would be:
    1. Show up at Kezar at 1pm to watch Nats
    2. Immediately after that game start harrassing the personnel to find NE feed.
    3. If the personnel show lack of cooperation, take a few El Salvador / New England/ Los Angeles fans hostage and make our demands clear (just kidding)

I am positive that if you get there early, reserve a TV, and ask them to put a game on - you'll get it.

I'm in Boston and looked at both local papers today. The Herald said that there's a live broadcast on WLVI-56, and the Globe didn't. So I guess you try to find a signal for WLVI on the satellite, because the Direct Kick doesn't show ESPN2 games, even if they're tape delayed.

Isn't Kezar showing the Nats game live? They have to be, right?
