    Good ol' USA
with one week remaining before the start of the 2004 season we still have not received news on the Local Coverage of the Earthquakes. ESPN 2, FSW and HDNet are all nataional broadcast but where is FSNBA and KICU 36... every other team like the MetroStars got some local coverage as well.

I guess I was so busy the last few days that I hadn't noticed, but you're absolutely right - this is the closest the franchise has ever gotten to the beginning of the season without an announced full television schedule.

I really hope that they announce it in the next few days, as this issue doesn't just affect us Quakes fans, but it also affects the MLS Direct Kick package!

    GO EARTHQUAKES!!!

The Direct Kick schedule for April has been released and shows that the 4/17 and 4/24 games will be shown, with the feed coming from FSBA. I'm pretty sure that most of the TV deal has been done, but there is probably a game or two they haven't finalized yet, and they are waiting to be sure, yes or no, until they make a press release with the complete TV schedule.

Well, the Quakes just announced a nice radio deal. Can the local TV deal be far behind?
