    VIVIANI’S QUALITY ADMIRED BY TEAMMATE

Alessandro Iacobucci, goalkeeper of Serie B outfit Latina, praised his on-loan teammate Federico Viviani, who is owned by Roma:

“Federico is a guy with great technical quality and excellent vision. He’s grown a lot, but I think he’s ready to have his say in Serie A.”

I think both him and Verre should be on next year's midfield. Pjanic needs a back up as will DDRDDR

Paredes can be our Pjanic backup. Verre can be DDR backup. Bertolacci can backup Radja while Stroot is out.

We really can't rely on our youngsters next season. Viviani is good enough for serie A, as is Politano. However I don't think they should be with us. They need play time and should be loaned. Bertolacci could be used as a back up but the others no. Neither Viviani or Verre are destroyers like De Rossi, Viviani is more of a regista.

Also I'll mention Antei since he usually gets mentioned. We have to temper our expectations. Sassuolo had no defenders and was playing with a 3 man backline. Antei is a good player but he isn't good enough to be our back up next season.

I think today they called him for the 1st time, he has been struggling with injuries all this time.

GDS claims that Rudi asked Saba to bring Viviani, Bertolacci, Paredes and Sanabria to the US training camp to be tested and evaluated.

I'd take Viviani and Berto. Especially with Strootman's comeback undated.

I really want them to give Viviani a shot next year, I think he just needs to learn under DDR and Co for a season

What type of player is Bertolacci? Is he a creative type that could be a vice-Pjanic? Or is he more of an attacking midfielder?

he's another vice Strootman / vice Nainggolan, box to box

i think he's basically here until Strootman recovers, then we'll evaluate whether he has a place in the squad or if we will sell/loan him out. no need having 3 players to cover one position/role

He's a vice Pjanic really. At Lecce he did well playing behind the first forward. At Genoa, he's played there in a 4-2-3-1 but he's also played deeper a la Strootman.

    I did a write-up about him 2 days ago.

I think he should come back at least for the remainder of 2014, until Stroot gets full fitness

Don't think he did much. But shouldn't be surprising seeing as he was only given 15 minutes of playtime after months of doing nothing

Pettinari scored his 8th goal of the season. He has a chance to make it to Seire A with Cortone.
