    Severette-Xamax
Before only 6'127 fans (smallest crowd at Stade de Genève), Servette FC tied (0-0) Neuchâtel Xamax.
It seems that the crowd was not too happy with the defensive style of play introduced by Adrian Ursea since his arrival. At the end of the game, there were cat calls, and lots of what the article describes as unhappy whistles. Needless to say this was not a good turnout for Servette, it seems the novelty of a new stadium has dissapeared very quickly. I hate to see how many they get for Thun or Wil.

    Servette - NE Xamax 0:0

Here are the two games from sunday:
    Thun - Grasshopper 1:2 (0:1)
From the reports of the game, GCZ won with much less tension than Basel. Two fine goals from Petric, one chip of the keeper off a nice cross and the other scored on a high header over the keeper.
    Goals: 9. Petric (Nuñez) 0:1
    55. Renfer (penalty) 1:1
    68. Petric (Gerber) 1:2.

    Lachen, 4'200 Fans
    Yellow Cards: 37. Deumi
    57. Ferreira
    59. Spycher
    82. Barijho

    Zürich - Basel 1:2 (0:1)
From the reports, it seems that Basel were lucky to get away with three points. Playing without H. Yakin, and Cantaluppi, FC Zurich played an inspired game for their new trainer. A late Basel goal, kept leaders GCZ in view. A draw would have dropped them 6 points back with 9 games to play.
    Goals:: 23. Rossi (Huggel) 0:1
    49. Guerrero (Chihab) 1:1
    87. Huggel (Atouba) 1:2.

    Letzigrund, 13'500 Fans
    Yellow Cards: 86. Chihab
    89. Bastida
    92. Atouba (Foul / jeu dur).

    Here are the current standings:
    1. Grasshopper 5 4 1 0 13:4 38 (1)
    2. Basel 5 3 1 1 11:7 34 (2)
    3. Young Boys 5 3 1 1 6:6 25 (7)
    4. NE Xamax 5 2 2 1 8:5 24 (6)
    5. Servette 5 1 3 1 4:5 21 (8)
    6. Thun 5 0 2 3 4:9 18 (3)
