Saturday 08.03.03 17:30 Wil - Grasshopper 19:30 Basel - Servette Sunday 09.03.03 16:15 Young Boys - Thun 16:15 Zürich - NE Xamax Standings: 1. Grasshopper 1 1 0 0 4:0 28 (25) ------------------------------------------------------- 2. Basel 1 0 0 1 1:3 24 (24) 3. NE Xamax 1 1 0 0 3:1 19 (16) -------------------------------------------------------4. Thun 1 0 1 0 1:1 17 (16) 4. Wil 1 0 1 0 1:1 17 (16) 5. Zürich 0 0 0 0 0:0 16 (16) 7. Young Boys 1 0 0 1 0:4 15 (15) 8. Servette 0 0 0 0 0:0 15 (15) Wil-Grasshopper OUT: Wil without: Mangiarratti (suspended), Dilaver, Rizzo (injured). Grasshopper without Barijho, M. Hodel, Jaggy (injured). OK the Wil/Grasshopper game should be an exciting one to watch. I am not sure that the changes at Wil have settled in yet. They had so much flux in the season break, I am not sure if evryone is on the same page yet. Plus Grasshoppers were great last week. 1-3 Grasshoppers go to 31 points. Basel-Servette OUT: Basel without Ergic, Esposito (injured). Servette without Hilton (suspended), Fournier, Lanoizelet, Obradovic, Pont, Senderos, Weber (injured). Servette is like a team from an OR. I think this game will be like this weeks Swiss Cup match. Basel will win, hey can't afford to loose, but will expend just enough energy to win, so they can be ready for Man U. If Servette were to score early things would be different, but I do not see that happening. 2-0 Grasshoppers at 27 points. YB-Thun OUT: Young Boys without Petrosyan (suspended), Fryand, Tikva (injured). Thun without H. Moser (injured). Uncertain: Thun: P. Baumann, M. Schneider (injured). This should be a good derby game. It is nice to see YB still playing after the administrative problems of the off season. That said, I think Thun is a better team and can go to Wankendorf and get points. 2-2 Thun with 18 points, YB with 16. Zurich-Xamax OUT: Zürich without Fischer (suspended), S. Keller, Pallas (injured). NE Xamax without M'Futi (suspended), Da Silva, Righetti, Tsawa (injured), M. Sanou (not qualified). Uncertain: Oppliger (NE Xamax, injured). This is Zurich's first game of the spring tour, and Xamax is coming off a huge win at home against Basel. I think that Zurich will come out and attempt to show they are a force for the third UEFA spot. Should be a really good game. 2-1 Zurich 19 points, tied with Xamax.
