Here we go with week three. There should be some decent games, the Zurich derby, and the opening of the Stade de Geneve. Here is where we stand: 1. Grasshopper 2 2 0 0 7:1 31 (25) 2. Basel 2 1 0 1 3:3 27 (24) 3. NE Xamax 2 1 1 0 4:2 20 (16) 4. Young Boys 2 1 0 1 1:4 18 (15) 5. Thun 2 0 1 1 1:2 17 (16) 6. Wil 2 0 1 1 2:4 17 (16) 7. Zürich 1 0 1 0 1:1 17 (16) 8. Servette 1 0 0 1 0:2 15 (15) The Games: Grasshopper - Zürich This should be a great game. It will be fun to watch the reaction of the fans to the possible unification of the clubs. Zurich got lucky last week and GCZ is playing awesome. 3-1 GCZ GCZ with 34, Zurich with 17 NE Xamax - Wil Xamax has shown good play this spring. With the game at home and Wil struggling a little I see a close Xamax win 2-1. Xamax with 23 and Wil with 17. On an aside the neuchatel city council will vote on a project which includes a new stadium qith 12500 places, a shopping center and the usual combination of stuff that the Swiss put in their new stadiums. If approved it will be finished for 2006. Servette - Young Boys This is the opening of the Stade de Geneve. Servette will be without four players including Senderos and another from the defense. I see the huge crowd and the whole atmosphere pulling the Servettens through. 2-1. Servette and YB at 18. Thun - Basel This is a great oppourtunity for Thun. Basel must be looking forward to tuseday's match with Juventus. Basel has already played six competitive matches in the last three weeks. If Thun can stay composed I think they could have a chance. They were very unlucky last week. But I think this will be a tie. 2-2. Thun at 18 and Basel at 28. That would make the standings: GCZ 34 Basel 28 Xamax 23 YB 18 Thun 18 Servette 18 Wil 17 Zurich 17 It should be a fun weekend!
