Most of it has to do with Comercialism..

You are right. it is commercialization because why is it a failure for Blanco to "fail" in Europe, but for Palermo, Riquelme, Veron (EPL), Forlan (Uru)(EPL)?

It is however interesting that you mention Batigol because la Albiceleste has yet to produce another striker of that magnitude.

thats my point, you respect heirarchy because if a player is in a different class, he is in a different class... age should be the determining factor

And yes they have produced every year.. Look at their atm options : D'Alessandro, Aimar, Riquelme and now Tevez which leaves out players such as Gaitan and Franco, this is simply a luxury that we dont have in the MNT.

    commercialization at its best

I dont think we need to improve in the "fuerzas basicas" maybe we need better promoters

    :D

People, please make use of proper quotations when responding to others in your posts or at the very least name the person whom you are responding to. This makes it much easier to follow along.

    Thank You

    Carry on...

Lets no jump from National teams to clubs.. Campos played in France 98 because of his sponsers, he never deserved to take Adolfo Rios spot. Similiarly a player like Batistuta despite not being in his best form benched Crespo. Anyhoo to answer your question, Blanco is considered a fracaso because he returned to Mexico. The South American players that you mention are still in Europe. Torrado didnt come running back at the first sign of bad luck, he has stuck it out.

I am not talking about Heirachy, thats your descusion with Metalero.. Campos was not in another class than Rios but he did have Pepsi sponsership. Besides in the MFL we have very few players that really stand out to be considered in another class.

When you see it on the following webpage, thats when its official. http://www.esmas.com/clubamerica/

it should tell you something when SportYA say he has signed for 5 seasons, or ESPN saying he has a behaviour attitude cluase in his new contract, etc. All of them have different stories and not one of them coincide.

The only thing that i have considered is the statement that Sanz (Blanco's agent) said with respect to the matter.

Honestly, we are in need of better sports journalism. The practice of "lets throw a rock in a dark room and see what he hit" is not only unprofessional but a waste of time.

Thats why i always check the FMF and official club sites. I think its time we touch up the clubs forum and see if all links are still working
