Allegri has called up 21 players:

Abbiati, Coppola, Gabriel. Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, Zaccardo, Zapata, Emanuelson. Birsa, Cristante, De Jong, Kakà, Nocerino, Montolivo, Poli, Saponara. Balotelli, El Shaarawy, Matri, Niang.

Allegri: "Constant wasn't called up because of a muscle problem. I preferred to let him rest so that he will be available for Ajax."

Allegri: "Mexes and De Sciglio have recovered, but De Sciglio still isn't fit enough to play 90 minutes."

Allegri: "Abate and Muntari will return to training on Sunday. They should be ready for the Ajax match."

Allegri: "I don't know if El Shaarawy will play from the start vs. Livorno, but he definitely will be a part of the match."

I'd put Bonera at RB and Poli in midfield instead of Nocegol, but hey ho.

Hopefully, we need to get him back upto speed without getting him injured again, which has become our speciality.

Hopefully it means they won't just defend the rest of the game.

Livorno look really motivated today, and we seem to lack any cohesion in the final third. Still not sure what Nocerino is doing/meant to do, he looks like a competition winner at times.

Yep waiting for an individual moment of skill, that said can't see Livorno keeping this up all game and they have about 3 players on a yellow.

Ends 2-2, seriously if we start matches with Bira and Nocerino we can't expect to win, and there is a lack of team cohesion going forward plus the defence(Mexes and Zapata) sucks.

That squad still should've been good enough to beat freaking Livorno.

nocerino and birsa starting should not result in us dropping points to livorno. the problem is in the defense and in the goal. until we solve that, any number of world class attackers will not help us get results. we have given up 23 goals in 15 games. that's over a goal and a half per game. we're scoring goals and keeping the ball, but we keep conceding. reinforcing the defense must be a priority in january. we started two midfielders at fullback, and it looks like mexes and zapata don't even communicate with each other.

I don't see what those two offer other than having 11 players. They just seem to slow everything down. Hell I'd even to play with Matri as a striker with Balo than Birsa tbh.

Well we're getting Rami and are rumoured to be interested in Burdisso so they might help. I'm starting to wonder if Bonera is the answer to the CBs until then, dark times. We've kind of used mids as full backs with Janks and Serginho even Abate was converted from a mid but that was when we actually had a strong centre, it's like they don't even look at the team when they sign players anymore.

not to feel as though I'm trolling

but Burdisso is garbage, and probably worse than what you guys got now

Mexes-Rami will be a good backline

and you guys are getting Keisuke Honda... whose a fantastic player...

Got to get rid of Allegri imo
