In retrospect, quite possibly Soto's best choice would have been accepting a scholarship to Cal Berkley, but now we have to play the hand we've been dealt.

Running the article through Google translate confirms that Soto is on loan to Porto B. Porto also have an option to buy at the end of the season.
Sebastian Soto has completed a loan move to Primeira Liga side FC Porto for the 2021-2022 season.Best of luck, Seb! 👊— Norwich City FC (@NorwichCityFC) July 3, 2021 (note pic they used!)
Looks like it. A loan wouldn't necessarily mean that much, but a loan with an option so soon means Norwich are looking to move on already. He didn't do badly in Holland's D2 but they're cutting him after only half a season, so it can't be solely about ability. He'd better produce in Portugal and immediately
If we removed all the threads of Yanks Abroad who are not good enough to start consistently in MLS we'd be left with about five pages.

People dunking on Soto never been to Porto... caught a right at supertubos or sipped white port at a cafe on the banks of the Douro (or been to Oakland, apparently!)
So just wanted to bring this up, not sure how legit but one of the usmnt podcasts I listen to stated that Soto's big issue right now has been attitude and he needs to deflate his head a little. Rumors also being that Telstar asked to end the loan early because they didn't want to deal with his attitude anymore
Curious, but quite possible (that there are negative rumors). Somewhere above a Norwich official is quoted saying Telstar wanted Norwich to send them more players like Soto, who scored a decent number of goals for Telstar, several of them of pretty high quality (even discounting for league level). Let's see if Soto can bang in a few goals for Porto B and get his career back on track.
Porto has the most beautiful McDonald's, too. https://www.localporto.com/mcdonalds-imperial-porto-restaurant/ (There are plenty of other/better things to see in Porto, but if you have to go to McD's, you want to go here.)
Yeah thus unsure as the podcast said they're going based off of people in Germany that were familiar with how Soto acted at Hannover. But there does seem to be some rumblings of him needing to mature a bit
