Although you did make me remember this when I was finding an article: Means the friendlies actually mean something as we have to get competitive quickly for those qualifying ties.
The North American tour coincides exactly with the week I have my kids this summer (and they're not fans). Sigh. Guess I'll just have to find a way to get to Anfield.
well heres a game to play: Guess the starting line up for the toronto friendly. Keeping in mind that the first pre-season game is usually the spot where, say, salif diao gets a run-out, looks ok in a holding mid role, then is kidnapped by aliens, sucked into a black hole and nnot seen on an english pitch for about 7 years untill fulham picks him up as a back-up for there intensive europa campaign. several candidates for that position. plus the Olympics and Euros to affect things. all in all, the practice the day before the game may be better value for money. But, hey, what can you do. Jones Kelly Cara Coates Robinson Lucas Spearing Downing Aqualani Cole Sterling Cant wait
Rushie and God will be joining the team state-side. http://www.lfctour.com/news/rush-outlines-america-ambition

apart from the home kit - warriors offerings are pretty poor. I guess the 3rd kit is ok as are some of the polo-tops.
Looks like Adam Morgan, Jordon Ibe, Raheem Sterling, Suso, and Ryan McLaughlin will be going along on the tour, according to reports on Twitter.
Suso is still playing in the Euro U19s so I expect he will get some time between the end of those and reporting for the season
He, and the team in general, have been excellent. Looking forward to seeing him in the first team this season.
