I heard, subject to confirmation obviously, that the game is on Radio 5 Live tomorrow.

Would this be a terrible idea for the home leg?

    ---------------Reina-----------------
    Finnan----Carra----Hyppia----Riise
    ----Gerrard-Hamman---Alonso----
    ----Garcia----Moro-----Zenden----

This can shift quickly to go to a defensive 4-5-1 if Garcia and Zenden play deeper. It would look like this:

    --------------Reina-------------
    --Finnan-Carra-Hyppia-Riise--
    ----------Hamman-------------
    Garcia-Gerrard-Alonso-Zenden
    -----------Moro-----------------

So then - score predictions? I'm going to be mildly controversial and go for a rusty 2-0 win.

    The starting lineup is....

    ---------------Reina
    Finnan-Carragher-Hyppia-Warnock
    Potter----Gerrard-Alonso--Riise
    -----------Le Tallec
    --------------Morientes

Subs - Carson, Baros, Cisse, Hamann, Josemi, Zenden, Whitbread.

This is a real chance for Potter, Le Tallec, and Warnock to earn a place in the team for the new season. I'm suprised that Garcia, Zenden, and Cisse did not start. Garcia and Traore are out of the team completley (injuries?).

They still haven't worked out the server issues. The connection is really bad.

Nice that Stevie G got the first goal. Now maybe Carra can get one too.

Carra's wandered to the attacking side of the pitch a couple of times already.

My Windows Media player is working great. I tried it on the Real Networks player earlier and it was bugging out.

An absolute genius long ball from Xabi finds Gerrard and Moro just feet outside of the goal, but they stumble on it and TNS clears it.

Nando falls victim to a reckless challenge and it looks bad. Ref didn't call it!

Ouch! Terrible clearance from our back four turns possession over and forces a save from Pepe.

Soon after, Potter sends a great cross to TLT, who was just off side. Good play by the youngsters.

21:00 Stevie wins the ball back in a dangerous spot and chips it over the keeper. That a brace for Stevie! LFC 2 - TNS 0

Possession looks awesome. Lots of good plays and chances. TNS is having a hard time getting the ball over to our half.

Also, they have a defender named Michael Jackson. Cham on! :D

Great play! Finnan to Gerrard, who back heels to JAR. Riise takes a shot from distance and misses by inches.

Great corner and a close chance by the Reds. Gerrard takes, Riise volleys across the penalty area and TLT goes for the diving header and sends the ball wide.
