    Liverpool can only draw either:

    Bayer Leverkusen
    Juventus
    Lyon
    AC Milan
    Inter Milan

    That's by my eye...did I miss someone??

Still better than Chelsea and Arsenal's draw of:
    Real Madrid
    Barcelona
    Werder Bremen
    Bayern Munich
    PSV Eindhoven

Dude, we just snuck into the knock-out round on goals by Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Neil Mellor.

Every once in awhile, if you take your two dogs on a walk in the park, they'll lead you to a hot chick who wants to talk about football and fellatio. 99% of the time, though, the dogs sniff around for a few minutes, take a dump, and then want to go home.

While the new dog has found me two hot chicks in two weeks, that doesn't mean we have no striker problems.

Simply Magical... great match for everyone involved with the red and white of Liverpool.

Score another one for England's finest jewel, Mr. Gerrard.

can you tell me where you git that from???In uefa.com,the regulation section states that:-
1.teams from the same league cant be drawn against each other
2.winners and runners-up of the same group cant be drawn againts each other
3.runner-ups cant be drawn against each other
4.group winners cant be drawn against each other

Im not saying you are wrong, since it all makes sense, but i just want to knw where yo get that from????If your right(wich i hope your not),Well get either inter or milan!!!!$hittttttt.which of them would you guys like to play against!!I would have to say inter, since there defence is very poor, and only have a very good attack!!.but they are both top quality sides!!!Does anyone know when is draw going to take place??

    I'm fucking awe struck.

And in complete envy, you're captain is special, he represents Liverpool.
While ours is a bloody mercenary.

    Congrats.

Wow! A storybook night for the KOP and Gerrard. Fie on ESPN for not showing more CL fixtures! Best of luck in the next stage.

At least the Derby's on Fox Sports Saturday. Think there will be a lettdown?

Good point. I really enjoyed watching Roma and Real Madrid play in an empty stadium. (LITERALLY empty this time, mind you, not the "gee, where are all the people" empty they usually get.) I also enjoyed how Roma fielded a squad littered with no-names. Honest to god, I think EVERY game ESPN has shown so far has been either Real or ManU, even if they were playing some minnow and everybody on the planet knew the result beforehand.

Oh, and for a kicker, they couldn't even break in with highlights from the Liverpool game, because that was going to be shown immediately afterwards "for our fans in South America". Bah.

I couldn't agree more. That's what I wanted to say. Gerrard is special. I thought Terry might be a future England captain...well not with Gerrrard around he won't.

It pissed me off too. I wanted to watch the Liverpool game. It meant something unlike the Madrid game. Everyone knew that game would be undecided and boring while it's in a empty stadium. That made me wonder whether ESPN chooses their games or are they given them?? I can't imagine they chose to show the game today. I couldn't get into it without the crowd so I listened to the Liverpool commentary on UEFA.com.

Watching the Roma V. Madrid game was incredibly boring. The fans are huge in these games, I knew it would be boring but damn. Incredible stuff from Pool today, gonna have to hold onto Gerrard, he's your heart.

This from the guy who lists Real Madrid and Chelsea as his favorite teams.

    Cheers.

Have you guys seen Gerrards winning goal yet? Absolutely stunning goal. He had his arms up waiting for the ball which wasn`t passed to him, he dropped his arms in dissappointment but the low cross, which had been played into the box, was knocked back to him by Mellor. He just let the ball run across, dropped his shoulder and screamed it into the bottom corner from 25 yards. Worth seeing a few times that one.

That would have been a good view. I was listening to Alan Green on radio 5 (who went beserk) and thought I`ve got to see that one on the sports news. It was as good as Greeny said it was.
