Not sure what you thought I was saying, but it’s very simple. Whenever I have the chance I will watch on TV, but if I don’t have the chance, for whatever reason (driving, TV coverage, family, work, etc.), I really enjoy listening to the game on the radio. The BBC R5 coverage I particular. The radio, for me, is not shock! horror! no TV. If it’s not on TV, the radio is a very acceptable substitute. That’s it.
your first couple of posts referred to radio being a good option when TV wasn't available. you mentioned TV a few times. I just pointed out that Fubo could be used on a device. then you suddenly brought driving into it. that's it.
7am is a good time for me. I can stay comfy in the bedroom with the big tv. Then have my breakfast served at half time. Got gas yesterday, the attendant came from behind excited because he spotted my Liverpool license plate holder. Then he saw my cap. Big but lonely Red supporter. Like me, he’s the 3rd person in our small town that follows us. His girlfriend supports the Chavs they have pool and chav blankets on their bed and ditto with bathroom towels. I went by later I gave him a cap I’d hardly worn. Way to make a guy happy.
A lot of what you describe is what makes him a perfect player for how Slot wants to play. We can’t have eleven players who play like Trent, trying to pick out cross field passes all the time. Keeping the ball ticking over, being good in tight spaces, and under pressure are key attributes for a Slot midfielder. The first 3 games, Mac Allister had very understated performances. However, he played all 90 minutes all three times, so Slot is clearly happy with what he is doing and sees him as vital. I think Jones fits that role well. He can be the type of player that makes the team better even without any flashy performances, like Gini Wijnaldjum always did.
Pretty much the same side since the second half of the opening game, no? Mind you, when everyone was fit, you could pretty much pick Klopp’s sides also.
Yup! The interwebs had us believing to expect to see him starting, probably. A huge ask to get a player in such an important position up to speed so quickly. He’ll be involved sooner rather than later.
it is interesting though, that he's going to the same 11 (Konate-Quan aside). I wonder if he's just being cautious (understandable) or if he's not seeing potential replacements as not "getting" his tactics yet? anyhoo, I expect we'll see 5 subs today, without injuries that is.
I'm at my grandaughters birthday party this am so keep the updates coming. I'll have to do a delayed watch later.
Over 20 minutes and we’ve had one shot at goal. And one pass to the keeper from Jota there. Come on you slackers!!!
