v Liverpool v Swansea 5 November 2011, KO: 15:00 It's the first meeting between the two teams since January 1990 when Liverpool ran out comprehensive 8-0 wins in an FA Cup third round replay at Anfield. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/match/next-match/next-match-preview
As someone with a soft spot for Cardiff, I say to hell with Swansea, let's beat the living sh*t out of'em and NOT have a Norwich/Sunderland repeat
I'm fairly certain that Swansea have averaged the most passes and most possession out of any team in the premier league this season. We must be disciplined for the sustained periods when we don't have the ball. That is all I ask, especially of you, Charles McAdam.
I had a laugh today when i read Carrolls comments that he has "earned a run in the side". Just for that i would bench him, he hasn't earned sh*t!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/oct/31/premier-league-chalkboard-analyis Not quite, but nearly
That was interesting about Agger's distribution-- where he tends to put the ball. One of the reasons, most likely, that the most forward player isn't isolated when Agger has the ball.
i say we unleash bellamy for some welsh on welsh violence and start suarez on the bench... i'm just afraid that if he continues this way, once the christmas fixtures come hard and fast, he'll be absolutely gashed... we shouldn't need him to beat swansea... emphasis on shouldn't... bring him on at 60 if he needs to save us, but hopefully it won't come to that and we'll have it put away... reina johnson... skrtel... agger... enrique lucas... adam henderson... ......... downing bellamy... carroll
I'd play this side but with Suarez over Bellamy. Heck, I think you'd have to chain him to the bench to keep him off the pitch.
We might end up having to chain Bellamy to the bench as well...then we can unleash the hungry little dog
As long as Carroll and Suarez play...Carroll may not be what we want him to be yet, but there;s no doubting the fact that the two are making progress as a partnership.
another one of those pre-international break games that I always feel are must wins so we go into the break on a positive.

Giddy like a school girl. What the hell can possibly be going on to the camera's right? Here's my take: At least once a week in training they let a live chicken loose on the training pitch that they let Luis chase down and kill with his bare hands/teeth. It's his favorite part of the week. The picture must have taken place seconds after Luis learned of the presence of said chicken on this particular day. So many things would be explained if the above scenario were true.
Suarez looks both mischievous and giddy at the same time to me in that shot. Well captured by the photographer. I agree with the poster who said rest Suarez for this one. Bring him on lat for a run out if needed. HOpefully I can actually watch this one somehow.
You're all wrong. That picture is Suarez having an aneurism after finding out he won't start Saturday. OR He's impersonating that racist Dr. Seuss cartoon from the second World War.
Well we simply need to focus on winning every weekend and next year we will get to complain about too many fixtures
Unchanged side announced -------------------Reina Johnson-----Skirt------Agger------Enrique -------------------Lucas ----------------_--Adam Henderson--------Suarez ----------Downing ------------------Carroll
We've had about 3 corners which have come to nought. So, it's not a Gerrard issue. It's a team issue. EDIT: Reina has just saved our bacon as the defence and midfield went walk-about.
It's been a pretty good game so far from our defence and defensive midfield. Not much in terms of creativity though. Lots of chances, but mostly the result of poor defending from Swansea. It's unbelievable the amount of space they're allowing for our midfield. Suarez the bright spot as always, and Reina had to make one really good save so far on a fast paced attack from Swansea.
