    -----Owen -----Heskey

    Bench:

    FSP

I know everyone will complain about Heskey but I expect them to bunker and hope for a PK shoot out.
We'll need a battering ram not two greyhounds.

Hmmm... they can hold out for a penalty shoot out all they like.. but if they want one.. theyre gonna have to score...

I could actually see FSP starting is hes fit but at the moment seems like he wont be :(, and let em attack and try and get the goal that they need, and then let owen and sinema rip em to peices on the counter attack...

id certainly like to see a bit more pace up front than emily :)

Why do some fans rate the UEFA Cup as less important then the FA cup? Why? They are both important right? I can't understand some fans saying that it would be good to lose this game so that we can concentrate on getting that elusive 4th spot and winning the FA. NO, EVERY GAME IS IMPORTANT AND WE SHOULD DO OUR BEST TO SUPPORT OUR TEAM!!

Lets win today!! Do it for the turkey that I am about to eat!!!

    lol random rant

0-0 gets us through, but lets hope we go for some goals today (unlike Saturday against Boro). The back line is very suspect at the moment. We really miss Carragher and Finnan, and Riise is in bad form. Its kind of scary that both Diao and Traore will be starting.

Anybody know when Hamann will be ready to make a start? He has been on the bench a couple of times recently. We really need him to help out our defense. And we also need to give Steven Gerrard the freedom to go foward and create goals.

I take the UEFA Cup very seriously. Its a competition that we have a legitimate chance of winning, and it would be a huge sucess if we do. The best we can hope for is 4th in the league, UEFA Cup, and FA Cup. It would be hard to say that we didn't have a good season if we pull that off.

Ged says Didi is available. He didn't play for the reserves on Tuesday, so he might play either as a starter or as a sub. FSP and Mikie are available as well.

OK who's reporting? I'm going to be forced to eat holiday dinner with the family through most of the game.

I've got it covered. I successfully avoided Thanksgiving dinner again with my sister and her in-laws and will be able to do comms.

Well everybody on the board should be happy. I'm glad to see Didi back and we get to see what the matched set of greyhounds can do.

Gerrard controlling midfield, distributes to Kewell, who gets it to Diouf whose shot is saved.
