    Subs making second half disjointed.

Reds look fitter in this game than the Real Madrid match.

Milan scores as Reds beat Milan

Liverpool put Friday night's woeful display behind them tonight in Madrid with a performance that gave fans all over the world reasons to be optimistic for the season ahead. Milan Baros, Nick Barmby, Steven Gerrard and Vladimir Smicer all played very, very well and will have given Gerard Houllier a few selection headaches ahead of next week's Community Shield clash with Arsenal...

I missed it, but it sounds very encouraging after the Real loss. Did AC Milan field a full strength squad?

i watched the whole game live on tv

milans defense was very very poor in 1st half (even maldini)

liverpool played well in 1st half..much better than milan

in second half i would say milan played the better football..but LFc held on for the victory
