To Hell with the numbers - I salute those of you who are at Anfield for every game and especially those who traveled to Turkey and serenaded the world with YNWA - Liverpool have the best fans, bar none. (well, except maybe The Ohio State Buckeyes, of course!) ;^)

Is most of eastern Europe more localized in their support, or do they predominantly watch the 'big three leagues' and support those clubs?

I became a pool fan in 98-99, so I can never be accused of glory hunting

God we were SO BAD that year :D

Rather hard to be considered a glory hunter as a 'Pool fan, as Chel$ki, Arse and Manure fans are so fond of reminding us that we have not won anything you can't get out of a Cracker Jack box, but for being lucky for about 6 or 7 minutes in Istanbul. And that wasn't much since Porto and Liverpool have now demonstrated that "anyone" can win the European Cup.

Me also, but I stuck with the Reds, even when our "dreams be tossed and blown". No better team, or fans for that matter than our glorious Reds.

It doesn't matter when you started supporting Liverpool even if it was yesterday, it's staying with the team over the good and the bad times that counts. There you have the difference between Liverpool supporters and the Scum and Chelski, as I keep reminding scum supporters Football didn't start in 1991 with the introduction of the premier league, as for the we can buy anybody team I doubt thier supporters will be around in ten years time when they are back in the Nationwide.

I started supporting in 1986, so yeah, I was probably a glory hunter. Things were quite different in the 90s though.

yeah I started following in '98, which was when I decided that I wanted to support a team overseas, I chose Liverpool, not for any reason other than I just did. No glory hunting over here :D I will support them no matter what they do.

It's the Coca-Cola now. Can you imagine Manure competing for the Soda cup (forget the beer cup, they haven't come of age for that yet):D

Maybe some good will come out of this surge in Liverpool support, like maybe being able to find some Reds MERCHANDISE in stores! Every single piece of Liverpool gear I own, Jerseys, T-shirts, scarf. Hats , posters and Pins I've had to order online, yet I can walk into almost any stupid sporting good store here and see manure and real Madrid shirts.

I'm very dissapointed with the LFC online store. A large selection of products have been unavailable for weeks.

They've probably been gutted after the CL final.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where you can get those track jackets they were wearing before the CL final. I looked in the online store (a while back, mind you), and they were nowhere to be found.

I found LFC, Everton, CFC, Man Utd, etc in a Champ's Sports in Pearl City Hawaii last year. I'm sure a lot of soccer specific stores in big cities will have stuff. I got my scarf from a store in El Paso TX several years ago, and the local store here in Lancaster, PA said they were expecting more LFC stuff soon.
