http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/lfc-s-2012-13-fixtures-revealed First three home games to City, Arsenal and United. Everton Away in October. A strong start is needed.
AUGUST 18 West Brom (A) 25 Manchester City (H) SEPTEMBER 1 Arsenal (H) 15 Sunderland (A) 22 Manchester United (H) 29 Norwich City (A) We run the gauntlet a bit at the start. Three points away at West Brom on the first day are needed to set the tone for the two following fixtures.
I'm glad we're getting City, Arsenal, and United out of the way early. And honestly, five points out of those three games would be acceptable for me. October is going to be a big test (as will December now that I look at it). Teams like Stoke, Reading, QPR — the bottom 10 clubs. Those games are the ones where we need to turn things around from last season, where we need to grind out results.
I'd rather we play them away first. I feel like we always have Manure come to Anfield before we go there.
SARN tells the EPL that he'd rather the end of season deciders be played at Old Crapford with Howard Webb in the middle

He wins Manager of the Year. His brand of football is a revelation on Merseyside. All teams dread playing the Reds--be they English teams or teams in the UEFA Cup. Liverpool secure the league title by going 35-0-3 in the league, beat Norwich City for the League Cup, and Newcastle for the FA Cup. The UEFA Cup completes another historic treble for the club. SARN retires knowing he can never compete with LFC again. I've been asleep the whole time while I posted this...
68 league goals. We never converted a penalty all season, but skillfully banged 327 posts, which resulted in 42 OGs. Our post/OG conversion % is a 2013-14 work in progress. I had a similar dream.
A man can dream right...after the past few seasons, I need a little levity mingled with the hope of next season. As always the results against the mid-table and below sides will need to improve. I like our chances being that we got a manager from a side that punched well above its weight who will hopefully know just how to dismantle the bus in front of goal.
Man City are scheduled to come to Anfield on Saturday 25/8. But with a (possible?) Europa League tie on the previous Thursday, and the Mathew Street Festival (and the crowds and police concerns that come with it), I've heard the match might be moved to Sunday or Monday. Any idea how likely this is, and if so when would it be finalized? I'm visiting from the US and if they don't play Saturday or Sunday, well, I guess I'm not attending
The festival wont be a concern as its free and lasts the whole weekend however if we are playing in the Europa on Thursday it will be a Sunday/Monday kick off
