It seems like an old season past at least to me .... burning 247 is young (well, younger than most of us!)
We never got to wash the bad taste out of our mouths. Yes, I'm youngish (35 in May) which means I have a long memory.
‘I thought it was appalling that the Atlético fans were allowed to come’ https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-atletico-madrid-coronavirus-champions-league I agree.
Look at Madrid now...... a fvcking disaster zone .... place probably should have been on lock-down two weeks ago ...

The impact of Liverpool's Champions League fixture with Atletico Madrid on the spread of coronavirus is being investigated by the city's council. The move follows calls from the mayor of Liverpool City Region Steve Rotheram for an independent inquiry. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/52420677
Discovered earlier this week, a friend of mine from whom I had not heard in a while and was wondering why went to this game, contracted the virus, gave it ot his partner and the two of them have had a really horrible April. Neither went on ventilators, but both were on O2 in the ICU. Both have gotten the all-clear now, that they're no longer contagious, but they're going to be monitored for the next 3 months. The testing revealed it was the Atletico game.
