I thought i might post three or four one sentence thoughts in a row, but then I thought better of it and decided to try coherence and concentration. It is beyond per adventure that every football club is wary of the three clubs we've been discussing. The Gooners won the league last year without a loss. The Scum, while aging and not without problems, are still a very good team (Christ it pains me to write that). And when you can afford to pay silly money for any player you want, while running up massive operational losses (which dwarf the so-called loss the media highlighted from our AGM) you will always be hard to beat. Chelski has that advantage. That we are where we are this morning is down to having Rafa, as we've missed a lot of games by our most influential players. We DO have a good squad but not as deep as we have had. But we must be realistic. While I hate all three; Whinger, Sir Rednose and He who needs a shave are all extremely successful and competent football managers. So that does leave us hoping to knock one or more of them off, while making sure we see off the pack of posers around us. No shame in that. We knew from last year that we needed to thank Ged, and then see him off. We had to get a great manager to lead a new charge to glory. We knew it wouldn't happen overnight. Walk on.
