Manure called the game won and quit playing for a while, letting Luton head one in. Then it settled into a borefest.

 

They also missed two goals where they had rounded the keeper. Some great last ditch defending.....

 

Wonder what Owen would've had to say about that, if anything.....seeing as he though 1 of the options Darwin should've taken at Brentford was to round the keeper.

 

It's okay if you pull it off - the Darwin-Messi thing.
Haaland also prob should have done that, but he values his own confidence to shoot past.

Foden also had one (though in more difficult positioning space) yesterday, and he also failed to pull it off

Owen would have scored both of those Utd chances. Every time. He was a slightly more focused clinical finisher than either of those Utd players. Than most people ever, come to think back on it......

As per Liverpool Echo, there are now two dates available on the calendar for our visit to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Premier League – Wednesday 24 April and Wednesday 15 May – with the latter falling just four days prior to the final matchday of the top-flight season.

The 244th Merseyside Derby has been rescheduled for Wednesday April 24 (3pm EST).
