your favorite band from york, pa has a new album coming out in may. do you think they will re-capture some of their earlier magic or have they completely lost the plot? V was totally forgettable, except for simple creed which flat out rocked. i heard the first single, heaven, and based on that, i'm interested in checking out the rest of the album.
Based on their past track record, this disc should be pretty good. It seems that every other disc has been good for them. Mental Jewelry was just OK (although I know a lot of people would disagree with me), but regardless, it was completely overshadowed by Throwing Copper, which was an amazing disc. Secret Samadhi sucked, Distance to Here was much better, and as you said V was totally forgettable. Based on that pattern, the new one should be worthwhile. It would be great if they could get back to their early sound, because I really dug them back in the day.
