Well at least in the next EURO2008 fixture you'll be playing against Georgia in home with great chances for victory, unlike Latvia which will play against Spain and will probably get raped, though the coach which led us to EURO 2004 in Portugal is back so there could be miraculous turnabout.

Its certainly too late for us.

Luckily my moms side is Italian, but I would like to see Lithuania pull off some sort of miracle.

You have some Italian origin (WORLD champs) and you are rooting for Lithuania?
Probably Lithuania as underdogs is more attractive.

Italy have been my team since I was a child. Lithuania is fun to watch because, well, it is Lithuania.:)

Anybody know about a left back from Ekranas? Gediminas Paulauskas?

One of my son's friends says that he's friends with this guy and he's a great player.

Yeah, hes an international. Hes not too shabby. Lithuania always has had very strong defenders. Paulauskas looks no different.

He is quite good in stopping forwards, clearing the ball but no use in starting an attack, passing etc.
Surprisingly he managed to score against Faroe's today

    Azerbaijian- Win
    Czech- Probably a loss
    Estonia-Win, no problem
    Latvia-Win
    Moldova-Win

Not a bad friendly lineup for winning purposes, but in order to make the team better they should schedule tougher opponents.

Is any lithuanian football (90 mins or highlights) shown on Lithuanian TV or is it only through the internet?

Ekranas has a deal with one national channel broadcasting some matches, Suduva matches are on local Marijapole TV. Some other occasional matches now and again. New Sports channel is about to start on 1st of september that promises national league and highlights every week.
By the way big match Fbk Kaunas - Suduva will be live on futbolas.lt on Sunday night 18:00gmt, opening of brand new state-of-the-art Suduva ground

I'm afraid none of them are available on satellite. Some Lt channels are available with Viasat packages but not for free.
