you Man U and Arsenal fans. It's the footsteps of that run away train,Liverpool. They are starting to get real hot, finally, and if the afore mentioned M.U and Arsenal aren't careful, come the end of the season, they will be looking way up the standings to see Liverpool on top.A mix Owen,Gerrard,Dudek,Diouf,Diao,Riise,to name a few can be lethal.Take heed to this warning you EPL fans,Pool' is on a roll.

Forgot about the Celtic game already have we?

One decent game against Leeds means very little.

lpool were way up the standings before. what was it a 9 pt lead? they blew it and they'll not get much higher than 4th this season. although they do have some things in their favor, no other comps to distract them.

no thanks, i'm fine. and diouf is quite possibly one of the worst purchases in english football.

and while i'm at it, owen needs to remember that the ball goes IN the goal.

    Poor trolling = naff.

Responding in earnestness to poor trolling = words insufficient to express naffness.

Aww come on. Be fair. He's only scored 23 goals this season, that's barely enough to register, now is it?

Let's see. There are 7 games left, so conceivably, Liverpool could end on 73 points.

Arsenal has 66 points and has games remaining against ManU, Leeds and Southampton at home and travels against Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Bolton and Sunderland. It is inconceivable that they would fail to get 8 points against 4 bottom dwelling teams like AV, Leeds, Bolton & Sunderland. Just no way they wind up with only 72 or 73 points.

ManU has 64 points and has games remaining against Liverpool, Blackburn and Charleton at home and travels against Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton. Much tougher schedule than Arsenal, but still quite likely they'd win games against Blackburn & Charleton. 3 points against either Tottenham or Everton puts them clear of Liverpool.

Matt, how many games did he play? If he played 200 games to score 23 goals, it would not be impressive. I think he has 13 goals in the 31 Premiership games. The other 10 have come from Worthington, EU and what have you. It's a good year, but not a dominating season.

Vieri has 23 goals in 26 games in Serie A, the next closest guy has 14. That is an awesome display.

Micheal Owen has scored 23 goals in 47 appearances for Liverpool this season.

You are of the opinion that he is "past it" and "injury prone" on the basis that he scores (as anyone with the vaguest notion of these things knows) in bursts.

You, therefore, are talking out of your doubtless ample derriere.

Now, like we've all been telling you for some time now - learn, listen ... then post.

    You may leave.
