The weather here is finally warm enough to play some ball outdoors. Unfortunately, I see that many soccer fields still have their goal fenced off or the nets still haven't been put on them. At least that is the case near my area (Richmond Hill). So I'm calling all Torontonians to list some places in the GTA where pickup games have already started. And by pickup games I don't mean only a few players show up and ending up playing 4 vs 4 - I mean full blown pickups with at least 11 vs 11. FYI, if anyone's near Richmond Hill, send me a pm if you're interested as there should be a game the coming Saturday at 10am. I'll post the location and time here once it has been confirmed.
This one is confirmed: Where: Queen's College park, at Valleymede and Queen's College in Richmond Hill (near highway 7 and Bayview). When: Saturday at 10 am to 12:30 ish. Skill level: low. Mostly Chinese players with a couple of Caucasians, from teenagers to old geezers. Number of players: lots. Usually 30+ show up. Usually split into 3-4 teams. give me a shout if you're coming.
