I was wondering if anybody knows of a comprehensive list of pickup games in the US. I am going to be traveling this summer around the US and want to keep my skills up. I know that Sam's Army has a list and I am not sure if it's current. Any ideas? Thanks.
Chicago Here's some info for Chicago: Saturday and Sunday AM, Diversey and the Lake, Just north of the driving range. Weekdays there are games in Evanston on the Northwestern university campus in the early evening (5 p.m.) There are games down near the university of Chicago also, but I'm not sure of the times or locales. I was kicking around (horrific pun, sorry) the idea of just such a list as you've described with a friend back in the dot.com hey days. I'm sitting here, having just moved to NYC thinking: "Where the hell can I go this evening to kick someone?"
Philly If you're in the Philadelphia area: Drexel U 32nd & Arch 6p-until guys are too tired to play (I've seen guys playing well after midnight with just the security lights), every night from mid-June to late August There's a 60x30 artificial surface. It's really informal, some real good players. Some nights are better than others, depending on who shows up. Fairmount Park, Monument Hall 1p Saturdays I just heard about this and planned on going today, but it was raining. Washington Ave at 7th (or so) I haven't played there, but I've seen guys there in the evenings during the summer. Good luck with your travels.
Denver pickup Pretty laid back, Sundays starting at 2 p.m. in Westminster, northwest of Denver. See the (Un)Organized Kickaround thread on the Rapids Board.

Gainesville, FL Firestation fields behind the KAsh and Karry on 34th street used to have pickup tues/thurs/sunday 2-3 hours before Sundown. (haven't been there for years) Santa Fe Community College Fridays starting 5-6pm (info may be old) Atlanta, GA You can find people at Piedmont Park every Saturday AM. There has been a pickup game every friday PM at Emory / Druid Hills H.S. / Ebster Park in Decatur for over 15 years. 2-3 hours before sundown. Ponce De Leon field East of Fernbank Sunday at noon was big a few years ago. Boca Raton, FL Park on St. Andrews (forgot the name) Woodlands? Tues/Thurs 6pm (this info may be dated also)
columbus, ohio tuesday and thursday nights <mid-april til it snows> antrim park - just off of 315 in worthington - 6pm until it gets dark saturday <whenever there are no outdoor leagues - so early, early spring and late, late fall> fields south of ohio stadium on campus - usually starting at 11:00am until everyone tires out
Washington DC-- Lots of pickup games just off the mall near the FDR memorial during the week. That's the Lincoln Memorial end of the mall over towards the river.
