There are some strong rumors that Marcello Lippi could return to Juve as "direttore generale". He'd be taking the role that Moggi once filled.

Perhaps that's why he was at last nights game?

I would like to see him return as both manager and director like Alex Ferguson with Man U. If he just gets the director's job I do not want to see Ferrarra as coach just yet. A better choice would be Mourinho. He would get us back to the top.

I know it's not more than a rumour ... nevertheless I've got the feeling for a longer time now that he might sign Milan for next season. Would surely be a disappointment for all Juventini ... but well, that's today's business.

Even though he won't be on the bench, it would be great to see Lippi back at Juve. Make him "direttore generale". Presto!

Claudio Ranieri replies to the fans' criticism:

“When you are in charge of such a big club it is only normal that negative results will cause unhappy grumbling. I have been doing this job for too long to be surprised by what happened,” said the former Chelsea tactician.

“The fans will certainly have their own reasons, but I don’t forget where Juventus were 15 months ago. In any case, I accept only constructive criticism. The ones I don’t consider valid or relevant will just be ignored.”

Well, at least he accepts "constructive criticism"...;)

This guy acts like he is the reason why Juventus are in the position that they are. He is wrong. If anything he is the reason why Juventus are not challenging for the title because of his inept player moves. If Deschamps was still the coach I have no doubt that the team would be higher up the standings. He already proved that he was a better tactician than Ranieri beating his Chelsea squad with a much smaller team Monaco with 10 against 11in the CL semi finals. All one has to do is look at the players Deschamps wanted to bring in Toni Ribery and Malouda. With those guys Juventus could have won it this year.

I, too, like and liked DD. But if Inter hadn't been gifted maybe 4 matches, we would be in 1st or 2nd

Let's pray that Marcello won't disappoint us and go to Intermerda next season.

Somehow I've got a bad feeling after Mancini's announcement to leave after this season...

The Moggmeister seems to think Lippi is coming back

I doubt Marcello would go back to the black and blue scum since he messed up badly there before... I'd bet on Mourinho going to Binter if Mancini really quits. Ranieri isn't the reason why we're only third at the moment.

Well, dear Alessio: There had been some reason lately for criticizing Ranieri! He's surely doing a decent job ... but he's also far away from being impeccable!
