    I wont deny that the media is helping messi, but this is marketing same thing with guys like c.ronaldo.

    Since you mentioned unhealthy obsessions I appear to have found a stalker in Apalisoc_9. He seems to think I am 'anti-argentine'. I do love it when newbies attack. Should you point him in the direction of the Riquelme threads or should I? Those being but one example. Great research you did there son.

    It's not the first time and no doubt won't be the last time that people use aesthetics when it comes to ranking or discussing players. I don't even have a problem with that providing they admit to it but unfortunately most do not and cannot understand why their objectivity is then called into question. I do have a question for this board though and that is what you think of Ribery, specifically over the last season?

    No, it is not. You need to differentiate between a player being in the media for whatever reason and the media actively promoting a player. Consider the following. Have you ever seen anything negative towards Messi in the media?

    No-one ever said it was.

    Your last reponses indicate that you apparently do not know the meaning. I would advise you to educate yourself because your understanding of the subject is critical to the discussion. I know the definition because I studied the subject which is why I was asking what your 'definition' is. There is no shame in sticking your hands up and admitting that you are unsure.

    I never said anything of the sort. Your reading comprehension needs some work.

    I know what aesthetics is. You and phil80 clearly do not. If the two of you do not understand something then simply ask instead of wasting our time with posts like the two above.
