Very ordinary player, one footed and never performs on the highest stage, typical of South Americans to over rate players.

HA HA HA HA HA!!! I think Arsenal fans are still crying of what Messi has done to them. If I recall correctly, in the CL final he (Messi) scored with a header against ManU. If you want to talk about players that failed to perform at high level competitions, you don't have to look any further than England's "Golden Generation"??? What a bunch of overrated bums all of them were (Beckham, Gerrard, Owen, Scholes, etc) They won NOTHING for country. NOTHING. Not an U-20 championship, no Olympic tourney, never a WC, and never a Euro Cup. NOTHING. My friend, if you want to identify overhyped worthless bums, look to your shores. The best players that play in the EPL are all non-brits.

As Ray Hudson stated "The greatest footballer of his generation!" - no suck it

it had to be ironic right? being from england and all seeing as how they hype the hell out of all their mediocre players.

the best part is the only player with half a shit from Great Britain in Premier League anymore is from Wales.

Messi's left foot... Worth 5.25 Million Dollars? Chump change, I think it's worth more than that.

Made out of real gold, 25KG, which is 55 pounds, made out of real gold.

Am I the only one who thinks Messi's tattoo is completely shocking?

I'm not against tattoos by any means, i have 1 myself and would definitely get another one to comemorate the birth of my child one day... But damn Messi's tattoo is one of the worst i have ever seen.

What was he thinking? I was laughing out loud it was so bad/creepy. What sorts of mind altering drugs was he taking when he decided on it?

Yes, that tattoo is poorly done. Probably just walked into some tattoo place and got some poor work done. There are some great tattoo artists here in LA that do amazing work. Even the tattoo of his mother looks a bit strange.

The picture of him getting it done it looked like they were in a penthouse. He's not going to walk in someplace. People are saying a tattoo looks different after the skin recovers.

I said it as a joke because it looks like one of those tattoos people walk into a place without an appointment and get work(Meaning a tattoo artist is not good because a good one is usually booked up for months). As for a tattoo looking better as it recovers, hmmm, depends really. A friend of mine has entire left side of chest and 3/4th of his left arm covered with some great work, and the tattoos looked great then and now. I am sure there are great artists wherever you go but that work does not look good.

    Messi under different NT-coaches

    José PEKERMAN (15.09.2004 - 30.06.2006): 11 apps, 2 goals + 3 assists = 0,45 (G+A)/Game
    Alfio BASILE (14.09.2006 - 16.10.2008): 23 apps, 8 goals + 9 assists = 0,74 (G+A)/Game
    Diego MARADONA (04.11.2008 - 27.07.2010): 16 apps, 2 goals + 5 assists = 0,44 (G+A)/Game
    Sergio BATISTA (27.07.2010 - 25.07.2011): 11 apps, 4 goals + 6 assists = 0,91 (G+A)/Game
    Alejandro SABELLA (30.07.2011 - present): 17 apps, 15 goals + 8 assists = 1,35 (G+A)/Game

Neither am I but I do find them disfiguring particularly on the smooth back or shapely legs of a pretty girl......;)

But if that's what he want's so be it. It's his life. So long as he keeps knocking the goals in and setting up others for the seleccion I'll be happy.

Two more goals and he will equal the great Diego in number of goals scored. People however who use this argument to say Leo is greater than Diego need their head examined. There is more to a player than just looking at the statistics on paper.

Benjamin Aguero has also a great pedigree......Perhaps both will turn up trumps say in 2034 in Argentina itself for the centennial World Cup ? God I'll be old by then.......

Man, I had a bad dream a couple nights back. We were playing Germany in the WC again, and we scored 3 good goals that were not counted for. Messi ate a red for doing nothing. The ref just had it out for us.
