Here's a thought I had yesterday - maybe too experimental, though:

    -------Altidore-----------Dempsey------------

    Davies------Bradley-----Clark---------Donovan

---------Same Back Line As vs. Egypt---------

Might be too crazy to put Davies on the wing, but he has the wheels, and the energy to play out there. I think he'll be less of a liability defensively than Dempsey being out there...and seems to have some of that young cockiness you need to go at defenders out there.

With all the yelling about Dempsey - I just wonder, after his goal vs. Egypt and his set up of a goal v. Honduras, if he's just not suited to play out wide in the empty bucket?

If not Davies, then Torres...and I've also wonder if maybe it wouldn't be bad to give Altidore a game off from starting, since we know he's not going to go 90 anyway after coming off of his surgery.
