Since this is really the only part of BS I frequent now that the Revs lost I figured I post this hear. Mods feel free to move it

Anyone have any experience starting a YOUTH soccer league from scratch?

Working on a little project here that just got green lighted and need some help.

I want this to work and leave something viable for the long term

Sorry, don't know anything about establishing a youth league. Do you need anything in the way of equipment? I bet a lot of us could contribute along those lines, by organizing donation drives or things like that.

It' setting the thing up with rules,bylaws etc that I need help with

You might start by contacting Dave Messersmith at USSF. He's the Executive for USYS. If he can't help, he'll know someone who can. I don't have an email for him, unfortunately.

I think you should divide the teams between Sunni and Shiite. Winner gets an IED engraved with the word "Champions."
