    Israeli Premier Soccer, Round 9

    Satrurdays Games..

14:30 Bnei Sachnin - Maccabi Netanya
    15:30 Hapoel Beer-Sheva - Bnei Yehuda
17:50 Maccabi Haifa - Maccabi Petah Tikva
20:10 Beitar Jerusalem - Ashdod SC

    Sunday's games
20:50 Hapoel Tel Aviv - Maccabi Tel Aviv

    Monday's Games
20:35 Hapoel Petah Tikva - Maccabi Ahi Nazrat

    Reaction:

Bnei Sachnin vs. Maccabi Netanya - Not intresting but im expect Netanya to atleast win or tie...its a rather boring game...

Hapoel Beer Sehva vs. Bnei Yehuda - Beer Sheva now has a new player who is one of the best players in israel for socring, but gets treated, bad, so maybe they will surprise top of the leauge bnei yehuda!!

Maccabi Haifa - Maccabi Petach Tikva - No question here.... Maccabi Haifa can easily win, since there on a high note and that there captain rosso came back from a 1-0 euro win over slovenia!

Beitar Jerusalem vs. Ashdod - Intresting game! Beitar just got 2 new players, including Avi Nimny. But Ashdod came back last round and tied Maccabi Haifa, sooo it will be entertaining to watch. Would Nimny lead Israel or would Ashdod's Revivo Duo strike again..

    Sunday:

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs. Hapoel Tel Aviv - F-UCKING DERBY!!!!!!! The long awaited! A sell out crowd, in the heart of Tel Aviv....20,000 Tickets are sold and the crowds are hooliganists!! Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv derby is the biggest in the country...and alot happens here....this is one of the main matches in the round 9!

    Monday:

Hapoel Petach Tikva vs. Maccabi Ahi Nazareth - Nothing intresting! Rather boring and hard to go to the games that are at monday since everyone is working and all......so its gonna either be a tie or a win for Petach Tikva!!

But this round it matters cause the Leauges standing is kinda unbalanced...anyone can take the 1st round and a bottom team can easily be in 6th, 5th place!!!

    Indeed!!!!!

The Match is under heavy security........many fans will try to obstruct and be very rowdy...its the beuty of the game..

    I miss derby's...theres hardly any...
Bney Yehuda vs. Maccabi TA or Hapoel TA is not much of a derby and Hapoel Haifa vs. maccabi haifa used to be fun as well, now that is gone!

    Results!!!!

    very intresting saturday we had...

    here is the total results!!

FT Bnei Sachnin 2 - 1 Maccabi Netanya
FT Hapoel Beer-Sheva 0 - 0 Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv
FT Maccabi Haifa 0 - 0 Maccabi Petah Tikva
FT Beitar Jerusalem 1 - 0 Ashdod SC

    Very intresting games..

Bney Sachnin vs. Maccabi Netanya - I was wrong! i thought Netanya would strive, but seems they bowed out in the last minute to the arabs...well..thats luck.....

Hapoel Beer Sheva vs. Bney Yehuda Tel Aviv: Seems like Bney Yehuda is losing there power house touch and as we go along the round, we see that they are actually going to lose alot more, if they don't act very offensive..

Maccabi Haifa vs. Maccabi Petach Tikva - Very shocking! Maccabi Haifa is still in the clouds after there suprise win in Valencia. The team still doesn't know where to go and each team that has played them as cheered since they are getting points for free off from them.

Beitar Jerusalem vs. Ashdod SC - SHOCKING!!! Beitar Jerusalem!!!! :) im sorry..im a huge fan...but sh-it! Beitar finally won!! And what a win. Our newcomer Avi Nimny, who came from Maccabi Tel Aviv, scored in the opening 3 minutes and the crowd of around 22,000 went bazurk! The new comer scoring in less than 5 minutes of the 1st game!! Unbelivable! For the first time, Beitar had a lot of charge in the game and if we see more of that, than we would be amazing!!!!

    Tommorow:
The Derby!! Hapoel Tel Aviv vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv!!! What a game!!!

    Monday:

Hapoel Petach Tikva vs. Maccabi Achi Nazareth!

You really must put a [R] in your subjects. Failure to do so could result in a yellow card.

Go Maccabi! I wish I could have seen it. FSW needs to get rid of that Latin American crap and give us Israeli football

    Re: result

    The scorers were:

Eli Biton in the 1st minute of play &
Bruno Reis in the 3rd minute of play.

so 2 early goals in the 3 minutes secured maccabi's win over arch-bitter rival Hapoel Tel Aviv..

there were 4 yellow cars handed out, and shared between both teams!

The match was on just before the MLS Cup here in Israel. So first I watched the derby then I flipped to ESPN Israel. The greatest part was that for the international audience, they have Derek Rae and Tommy Smith. That was awesome because I can not stand Ty Keough's brainless comments. But I am swerving off track here.

Last night after the match the Maccabi Tel-Aviv players went to Mifgash haSteak to celebrate. The restaurant is owned by a very popular Maccabi Tel-Aviv fan. They were celebrating all night long. In other parts of the city there were no celebrations. Dror Kashtan, Hapoel Tel-Aviv's manager, was almost involved in a fight after 33 fans tried to get to him. Several arrests were made and he was police escorted home.

What made this derby so important was how it affected the standings:

    1. Maccabi Tel-Aviv 18 points
    2. Bnei Yehuda T.A. 16 pts
    3. M. Haifa 15 pts
    4. Ashdod Sport Club 14 pts
    5. Bnei Sakhnin 12 pts
    6. Hapoel T.A. 12 pts
    7. H. Be'er Sheva 11 pts
    8. M. Netanya 11 pts
    9. M. Petah Tikva 10 pts
    10. H. Petah Tikva 9 pts *
    11. Beitar Jerusalem 8 pts
    12. M. Ahi Nazareth 2 pts *

    * Both these teams have a game at hand tonight live on channel 10 at 20:35 (8:35pm) Jerusalem Standard Time.

Wow, the game was looking like a sure tie until Arzog put it away for Petah Tikva in the 81st minute.

Hapoel Petah Tikva 3-1 Maccabi Ahi Nazareth

You could hear the Arabs cursing the manager and being escorted by police after the match.
