I won't have a problem with it. It's unnerving if you're not from there, I'm sure. The thing is it used to literally be a war zone so this decline in violence, while terrifying for any decent city, is considered calmed down for us. You just gotta know what parts to stay out of, tourist zones are fine as per usual
I used to go see cimarrones all the time when juarez was in 2nd division I'd go to raves all the time as well
Seems Rayados will sign Andrada from Boca. I'm not liking not only the league is filled with foreign strikers, our keepers aren't even given a chance at all either.
Anyone know if Copa MX is back next season? That's where a lot of young guys get their chance to shine. I think that's how Romo started getting minutes with Queretaro.
And to think there was a time not too long ago where the grand majority of starting GKs in all the clubs were Mexican

How long did it take Acevedo to get a chance at Santos? Til this season or last? Per wiki he had only gotten the odd game here or there in the league and the cup.
I'd say he started being permanently part of the first team in 2018, Jona Orozco said he felt he would block him that's why he accepted Tijuana's offer over Santos extension (he could be saying that just to look like a good guy, of course). He's not as good of course, but Toluca's Luis García didn't get a long run until Talavera went on to join Pumas. Then we have Pachuca keeping a meh GK like Ustari instead of giving chance to a younger GK, Mazatlan going after a meh GK like 37 y.o. Vikonis from Puebla, who went after another 37 y.o. GK in Antony Silva. Those guys even make Andrada's signing look good. --- BTW, it seems it's falling off, because of money, the usual tactics used by Argentinean clubs... SMH

I’ve gone twice. The first time to get my residency. That was when it was more violent and there was definitely some tension in the air. Still managed to go to a local market and it was okay. The second time I went was much better. I went to downtown and went to a pretty cool museum there and walked around with a local. It was good except you could tell that people could tell we weren’t from there and that was a little unnerving. Might have to go back again soon. I will say, that the food there is mostly bad, which I’ve never said about anywhere else in Mexico.
