Yeah, Porto pressuring us heavily and forcing errors from us. A ton of misplaced passes in our own end. Amorim definitely needs to wake the boys up.
For us, yeah lol. Marega has had a ton of oppurtunities all created from the same side of the field. Seba’s had him contained for the most part, and Adan is cleaning everything up coming into the box as usual. But our attack is non existent. Pote and Tomas have been invisible and Nuno Santos looks like he’s in over his head here. João Mario’s been half decent at making short passes to advance the ball through the mid field but other than that we’ve got nothing going. Could easy be 2-0 Porto if not for Coates/Adan We need a change with the forward group or Amorim gotta light these guys up at half time.
Mario plays scared. Always afraid to make the killer pass or thread the needle. He needs to come off for Nunes . TT ain't ready either. Santos has been bad, I'd sub him at some point for Jovane. Porto came in with a plan and we've had a tough time adjusting to their pressure. The youth is showing. Nuno Mendes also in a yellow card, and Porto trying to get him sent off
I agree with this. The transition from defense tk midfield has been awful. We need a spark there. Mario ain't the answer. Dudes plays so soft
We are not even playing counter attack...just sitting back defending...yes we haven’t given up many chances but you can’t do this for 90 min vs Porto
