Stupid to sacrifice potential results in order to punish a player... dock him a weeks pay or something. Rules are rules though I guess It'll be nice to see Miguel Luis or Geraldes given another shot
Tbh I think the reason for the revolt was too much discipline with a dictator at the head, not the other way around.
^^ well the correct kind of discipline anyways. Match vs Nacional already started. Salin; Ristovski, Mathieu, Coates, Acuña; Gudelj, Doumbia; Diaby, Bruno Fernandes, Jovane; Luiz Phellype
Yes, please tell us how to run a professional soccer team. Holding players accountable for their actions and breaching their contract/team curfew can't be compared to a sociopath president who hires a bunch of crooks to attack his own team. There has to be some discipline. You can't just leave to Italy and violate team curfew.
Yes, please tell us how to run a professional soccer team. Didnt say there shouldn't be a punishment did I? Read.
Man Jovane has scored some nice goals this season but I really don't see him as more than a depth player until he improves his decisions.
I still think that entire situation was completely BS. I'm convinced there was outside pressure for players to rescind contracts all in order to oust the club president. This type of garbage only happens at SCP. Case in point, Daniel Podence, didn;t rescind with Olympiakos in March after they were attacked by rival supporters with tear gas in March of this year. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...Olympiacos-abandoned-fans-attack-players.html
^^ thats 6 goals in 6 games for Phellype whose showing he has quality to stay in this team. Raphinha with a great game.
1st goal should have prob been blown dead on an Acuna foul... But total domination..., should have been at least 4 - 0
Yeah media picking us apart for that goal. But we struck the woodwork 4 times in the first half and totally dominated them.
Tied JJs record of 9 in a row didnt he? Fantastic start by Keizer, underwhelming middle, but finishing strong. Will be interesting to see what he can do with a pre season.
The guys on the TV broadcast talked about it for 20 min... If it was Benfica it would have been 2 minutes tops
Like they blatantly ignore Feirense getting ripped off a few weeks ago. Just wait until tomorrow. Braga gonna spread those cheeks for SLB.or a shit ton of drama.
^^ as predicted, easy 4-1 win, Abel calm and smiling, Vieira slapping his lapdog Salvador on the knee after the win. At least we'll finish ahead of them again.
3rd place guaranteed after Braga lost to Maritimo. They're now 6 points behind with 2 games left. All we can look forward to is winning our games and hoping Porto loses to Nacional. If that were to happen we could have a shot at 2nd place still on the last matchday.
